Talk with BBC Philharmonic manager about life in the classical music industry

A session discussing the range of options for a career in music. Simon has worked as a musician, educator, programmer, manager, funder. He is currently Director of the BBC Philharmonic, chair of the Association of British Orchestras, a governor at Chetham’s School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music. In the session we’ll look at examples of successful careers and discuss the hopes and aspirations of attendees who are thinking of studying and working in music.

This session is open to students, parents/carers and teachers with an interest in music based careers. Anyone interested in classical music is also very welcome. Please simply sign up for a free ticket:
